The mission of the radiography program at °µÍø³Ô¹Ï is to transform individuals through innovative and accessible learning. We are committed to developing dedicated professionals who exhibit imaging excellence through critical thinking, effective communication, ethical behavior, and technical competency while supporting and enriching our communities.
The Radiography Program’s goals and outcomes reflect a comprehensive approach to student development that integrates critical thinking, communication, clinical competence, and professional ethics. These competencies are consistent with JRCERT accreditation standards, ARRT professional expectations, and state system educational outcomes.

Program Outcomes
Goal 1: Critical thinking
- Outcome 1: Students will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the practice of diagnostic radiography by modifying technical factors related to patient condition.
- Outcome 2: Students will define problems clearly and apply appropriate methods to solve them.
- Outcome 3: Students will contribute positively to team efforts and apply constructive conflict resolution strategies.
Goal 2: Communication
- Outcome 1: Students will express ideas and information clearly and utilize effective communication practices.
- Outcome 2: Students will demonstrate respect for diverse viewpoints and promote inclusivity in communicating with patients and peers.
Goal 3: Clinical Competence
- Outcome 1: Students will provide quality patient care.
- Outcome 2: Students will practice radiation safety principles.
- Outcome 2: Students will carry out the production and evaluation of radiographic images.
Goal 4: Professionalism/Ethics
- Outcome 1: Students will model professional and ethical behavior consistent with the ARRT Code of Ethics.
