ASE testing is offered for automotive individuals who need to become certified or to recertify in specific automotive areas.

Procedure

Candidates can register online at  or by phone with Prometric at 1-877-346-9327. Once a candidate is registered, they will need to contact Testing Services to set up an appointment.

Preparation

°µÍø³Ô¹Ï Library has study materials that can be checked out for A1-8:

• A1 - Engine Repair
• A2 - Auto Trans (Transaxle)
• A3 - Manual Drive Train & Axles
• A4 - Suspension & Steering
• A5 - Brakes
• A6 - Electrical / electronic systems
• A7 - Heating and air conditioning
• A8 - Engine performance

Fees

Fees are paid directly to ASE when registering. No payment is required by °µÍø³Ô¹Ï.

Schedule

Appointments can be scheduled after you have registered with ASE. Please call (920) 693-1184. Testing is offered at °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Cleveland.

Day of Test

Arrive on time with photo ID and your ASE ID/Eligibility number. You are not allowed to bring food, books, papers, calculators, listening devices, cell phones or electronic devices into the testing room. Only testers are allowed in the testing areas. Pencils and scratch paper will be provided if needed.
